Hobi severlerin sosyal ağlarda dilinden düşürmediği bir dergi Flow. Nedir, ne değildir biraz konuşalım istedim.
İngilizce, Almanca ve Fransızca basımları da mevcut olan Flow, Hollanda kökenli bir ilham yuvası. Aslında onlar kendilerini, "kağıt-severler için bir dergi" olarak tanımlıyor. Gerçekten de öyle! Tasarımından, içerisinde kullandıkları farklı kağıt türlerine kadar kırtasiyeden hoşlanan herkes için mükemmel bir deneyim sunuyor. Deneyim dememin sebebi yalnızca okuyup geçeceğiniz bir dergi olmakla kalmaması. Her sayıda yer alan ilham verici dosyaların dışında kişiselleştirilebilen bir çok yönü var. Derginin farklı bölümlerini birbirinden ayırmak için kullanılan karton separatörler, kolayca yırtılabilen perfore sayfalar olarak tasarlanmış. Böylece istediğiniz gibi kopararak yaratıcı işlerinizde kullanabiliyorsunuz.
Ayrıca her sayı birbirinden güzel hediyeler içeriyor. Örneğin şu an elimde olan 18. sayıda kitap ayraçları, yırtılabilir kadın filozoflar kartları gibi harika hediyeler mevcut. Ama asıl beni kalbimden vuran, el yazısı ve dolma kalem kullanımını anlatan bölümdeki alıştırma sayfaları oldu.
Flow dergisini diğer dergilerden ayıran en güzel taraf, içinde sayfalarca reklam barındırmıyor olması. Bu yüzden de fiyatı normalin biraz üzerinde. Ne yazık ki bu harika derginin şu an için ülkemizde bulunmadığını üzülerek eklemem gerekiyor. Uluslararası abonelik seçeneği elbette ki mevcut ama güncel döviz kurları sebebiyle biraz pahalı olduğunu unutmamakta fayda var.
Şimdiye kadar İngilizce ve Fransızca 3-4 sayıyı yurtdışına giden yakınlarımdan rica ederek okuma fırsatım oldu. Son zamanlarda gelenlerin ikisi aynı sayı çıkınca birini bir arkadaşıma hediye ettim. Aynı sayının bu hafta elime ulaşan üçüncü kopyasını da buradan hediye etmek istiyorum.

Flow Magazine is something that most craft-lovers have been talking about on social networks. So I also wanted to talk about what it is.
Flow Magazine is a Dutch inspiration source which also has issues in English, French and German. The magazine describes itself as, "a magazine for paper lovers" and it actually is! From the design to the different kinds of paper used inside, offers an incredible experience to every stationery lover. The reason I describe it as an experience is because it's not a magazine just to read. It holds many personalisable content as well as the inspirational scope. The cardboard separators used inside are tearable for re-using purposes.
Also every issue offers extra gifts. for instance the Issue 18 which I have at the moment offers extras such as bookmarks and female philosophers poster. But the thing that really strikes me at the heart is the "Ode to Handwriting" part that contains practice pages for cursive handwriting.
The best thing about Flow Magazine is the fact that it doesn't contain pages of advertisements. Therefore the price is a little more than average. You can see the subscription options from here.
So far, I've had a chance to read a few of the English and French issues. Because it's not sold here in Turkey, my friends from overseas usually send them to me. I recently received a duplicate of the issue 18 so gave it to a friend as a gift. But this week, I received another 3rd copy of the Issue 18, so I decided to throw a giveaway.
